Study a session
Start a session
- Study all on the dashboard covers every deck.
- Study on a collection covers its decks, and Study on a deck page covers that deck.
- Tick several decks on the dashboard and click Study selected decks.
When nothing is due the button says Study ahead, and you get cards before their review time, with weaker cards more likely to come up.
Each card
- Read the question and think of the answer.
- Press Space, Enter or Show answer.
- Rate how well you knew it. Press 1 to 5 or tap a rating.

A 5 pushes the card a week away, so only give it when you really knew the answer. Each card also shows your last rating for it, or New card if you haven't seen it before.
Rounds of ten, or a timer
By default a session stops after 10 cards and shows how the round went. Click Keep going for another ten or Stop for now.
You can study to a timer instead, from 1 to 180 minutes. Switch between the two on the study screen or in Settings. In a timed session, press P to pause and resume.
