Get started
Cards go in decks, and decks go in collections.
- On the dashboard, click New collection and give it a name, like Design Patterns or Spanish.
- In that collection, click New deck and name it, like Strategy or Verbs.
- Open the deck and add cards. Each card has a question and an answer. To bring in cards you already have, use Import CSV instead. See Import cards from a file.
- Click Study on the deck, or Study all on the dashboard.
Each card shows its question first. Think of the answer, press Space to check it, then rate how well you knew it from 1 to 5. After ten cards you can keep going or stop.
What the dashboard shows
- Due is cards whose review time has come. New is cards you haven't studied yet.
- Studied today and your streak, the days in a row you've reviewed at least one card.
- Overall mastery, from your latest rating on every card. See How reviews are scheduled.
- Activity, a year of days colored by how many cards you created or studied.
- Each collection with its decks, and the decks you studied most recently.
